My blog is for women who are looking to get and stay inspired in fashion and beauty. Its really easy for women to deny themselves beauty. Especially when hard things take over, like really small children. They kind of mess up pretty things. Lol. Or having a very demanding schedule at work or home.
I want to inspire women to stay in the game and that small beauty and fashion habits can really make you look and feel great everyday.
No one has time to be searching for matching clothes and makeup all day. Now with the internet you can really narrow down what you want and get inspired with certain creators that are your style. I want to share my Stylist habits and makeup tips. Iv worked really hard to build these skills so I can help my perfect clients online.
When I worked in the salon I was never on my phone. Stylist work with their hands and people so there is no time for social media. We may take pictures in the salon but the social media aspect is a completely different aspect of the job. I learned what women love and look for by working with them in person. My clients loved to bring in pictures and share what they wanted. They always used pictures to communicate a overall look.
I learned that women see a overall look and want to work with someone to achieve it. That’s where I would come in. I always told them when I first met them…give this the time it needs. In a year you will have people approach you in the grocery store. Who does you hair? You look so pulled together.
When my clients had strangers ask them about their look, they seen such value in a Stylist relationship. Our relationship had a deep trust factor that took time to build. The main thing I want to share as a stylist is play a long game. Give yourself a year to turn it around. To really achieve that over all look your desiring.
Why do I share about both Beauty and Fashion…
Because in my mind they are the same thing. I know that’s not true for everyone, but that is how I feel. You will love the benefits of the full overall look. Finished outfit, hair, and simple beautiful makeup. You can have it all. Its all about habits. Who I want to help is women who want to be inspired to really cultivate there personal style and invest in it.
I want to do this because I have spent 15 years in the salon learning the patterns of beauty and style. It all can be learned and I really want this blog to be a skill vault of what I have learned and executed in my life and career. Everything I did to my clients I taught them to do themselves. That is always the goal.
I plan on serving my online clients, with my well researched picks in clothing, hair, and makeup. Sharing inspiring videos and of course keeping my Like To Know It store packed with my top picks. Creating technique based video content that teaches simple techniques anyone can do.
2023 is going to be the best year yet. We are putting ourselves on the list and sticking to it. Everything we want is found in our daily routine. You have the power to change your day, therefore your life. Cant wait to get to know you this year. Lets go 2023!
